READERS ARE LEADERS 2015 – 2016

You can read books and earn badges!
Month: November
Theme: People
Learn about presidents, zookeepers, inventors, racecar drivers, and more!
FORMS CAN BE PICKED UP IN THE LIBRARY OR DOWNLOADED BELOW 
 
HOW IT WORKS…
  • Come into the Seabrook Library and pick up a form. Make sure to pick your proper grade! Forms are also available below to print out.
  • Each month is a different theme. Just pick out a book on that theme (you can read one from the Seabrook Library, your School Library, or even one you have at home!).
  • Fill out the form and bring it back to the Seabrook Library.
  • You’ll get a raffle ticket to take to your School Librarian. When you bring it in, you’ll get a cool surprise!
  • Win cool prizes! Your raffle ticket qualifies you for three raffles that take place throughout the year. You might just get a cool book or other prize!
  • If you read each month, you get a certificate and a reading badge every three months! The program goes from November-May. (Badges are given for reading Nov-Dec, Jan-Mar, Apr-May…three badges total!)
Ask Lisa or your School Librarian (Ms. Ross) if you have any questions!

Readers Are Leaders 

Participating is easy!!
1.      Choose a book from this month’s Readers are Leaders section. The book can be from anywhere – school library, public library or at home.
2.     Fill in the form for your grade and return it to the Seabrook Public Library by the end of the month. Forms can be picked up from the Seabrook Public Library or are available on the library’s website.
3.    Pick up a raffle ticket from the library.
4.    Return the raffle ticket to Mrs. Ross at the Seabrook Elementary School library.
5.    Repeat every month.
